Onsite Tech is an independent onsite IT business serving Auckland and Hamilton. We come to your office, shop, clinic, warehouse or home and do the job where the equipment is - networks, cabling, servers, computers, printers, cameras and everyday tech help.

What we do
Most of our work is for businesses: structured cabling and network points, Wi-Fi that reaches every corner, firewalls, servers and storage, UPS power protection, office moves and new staff setups. We also help households with computers, Wi-Fi, printers, TVs, smart home gear and patient one-on-one help for seniors.
Everything is done on site. Cabling, hardware, printers and networks are fixed where they are, not guessed at over the phone. When a problem can be sorted remotely, we offer that too, so you don't pay for a visit you don't need.
How we work
- You tell us the job on the booking form, by email or on the 0800 number.
- We reply with a time that suits you and the cost - our published rates, or a free quote for bigger jobs.
- A technician arrives, confirms the plan with you, does the work and tests it with the people who use it.
- Before we leave, we explain what we found and what we changed. Business jobs get written notes.
- You pay for that job. There is no contract, plan or membership to sign up to.

Working alongside your IT provider
Plenty of businesses already have someone looking after their IT remotely - an outsourced provider, an in-house IT person or a software vendor. We are often the hands on site for them: running cables, swapping hardware, setting up new desks or being there for an after-hours changeover. We follow their standards, keep them in the loop and leave notes so nothing is lost between us.
Standards we keep
We label cables and equipment, record admin details somewhere you control, change default passwords and update firmware before we hand anything over. We test with the people who use the equipment, not just with a meter. If something isn't worth repairing, we say so, and if a job is better done by somebody else - a registered electrician for 230 V wiring, for example - we tell you and coordinate where we can.
Where we work
We cover Auckland and Hamilton: the North Shore, West, East and South Auckland, the city fringe, the Hibiscus Coast, Pukekohe and Hamilton. Visits are booked Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, and after-hours work can be arranged for business jobs.

Onsite work is charged at our standard rates: a $30 call-out, the first hour, then half-hour blocks. We never charge by the minute or in 15-minute steps, and there are no hidden extras.
Larger jobs - a new network, a run of cabling, a server or a camera system - get a free quote before any work starts, so you know the cost up front. Parts and equipment are quoted and agreed before we order them.
There is no contract, no monthly fee and no membership. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
