Repairs
Mac repair and support, onsite
MacBook, iMac and Mac mini help at your home or office.
Macs are reliable, until a startup loops, storage fills up or a printer refuses to talk to macOS. We support MacBook, iMac and Mac mini computers at homes and offices: diagnosing start-up faults, fixing slowdowns, reinstalling macOS, setting up Time Machine backups, connecting printers and shared drives, and moving everything to a new Mac. Mixed offices with both Macs and Windows PCs are a normal part of the job.
- Files checked or backed up before repair work
- macOS updates and storage health checked
- A clear explanation of the fault and options
Signs you need Mac repair & support
- The spinning wheel appears every time you open an app
- A storage full warning keeps appearing
- The Mac starts to a question mark folder or keeps restarting
- A printer or network drive will not connect on macOS
- A new Mac is waiting to be set up with everything from the old one
How we do it
Mac problems often look like hardware faults but turn out to be software or storage. We check storage health, free space, start-up items and the macOS version first, then look at hardware such as the battery, fans and display. Where a repair or reinstall is needed, we make sure your files are backed up before touching anything, so a fix never costs you your documents.
We work in mixed environments every day: Macs connecting to Windows file shares, office printers, Microsoft 365 mail and business Wi-Fi. Moving to a new Mac is done with Migration Assistant or a Time Machine backup, bringing across your accounts, files and apps. Before we leave we test the things you use daily and confirm backups are running. Anything we could not fix is written down for you.

Mac Repair & Support for businesses
For businesses, Macs need to fit into the office network as smoothly as Windows PCs. We set up shared drives, printers and scanners on macOS, connect Microsoft 365 mail and calendars, configure Time Machine or cloud backups and help with Mac rollouts for design, marketing or management teams who prefer them. Mixed Mac and Windows offices are set up so both work the same way for staff.
Mac Repair & Support at home
At home we fix a slow MacBook, set up a new iMac, move photos and mail from an old Mac and get Time Machine running so family photos are protected. We explain what we are doing as we go and leave you with a Mac that is tidy, updated and backed up.
Before we arrive
To make the visit quick, it helps to have these ready:
- Your Mac user password
- Your Apple account sign-in details, if you know them
- Any external backup drive you already use
- A list of the apps and printers you rely on
What a visit looks like
When you book Mac repair & support, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.
On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.
When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.
Pricing
Each Mac repair & support job is priced before work starts. The price depends on what's involved - the size of the site, the equipment, and whether parts are needed - so the quickest way to a number is to tell us about the job on the booking form.
There is no contract and no monthly fee. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
Mac Repair & Support: common questions
Do you work on mobile devices too?
We work on Mac computers only - MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini. Mobile devices are outside the services we offer, though we can connect your Mac to the same accounts and files you already use.
Can you replace parts in a newer Mac?
Many newer Macs have memory and storage built into the main board, so they cannot be upgraded. We check your model first and say plainly whether a repair, an external drive or a replacement makes sense.
Can you help move to a new Mac?
Yes. We use Migration Assistant or a Time Machine backup to bring across your files, apps, settings and user account, then check mail, printers and backups are working on the new machine.
