Digital signage installation and setup
Screens for menus, notices and promotions, installed and scheduled.
A printed poster goes out of date the moment a price or promotion changes. Digital signage lets you update menus, notices, offers and wayfinding from a computer. We help choose commercial screens and media players, mount them securely in shop windows, receptions, cafes and staff rooms, connect them to the network and set up the content and schedules so the right message appears at the right time of day.
- Screens mounted and cables hidden where the building allows
- Player connected and content tested on every screen
- Staff shown how to change content
Signs you need digital signage
- Printed menus and price lists are always out of date
- Staff spend time reprinting posters for every promotion
- A reception area feels empty and gives visitors nothing to read
- A screen already on the wall shows the same old slide
- Several sites need the same message shown at once
How we do it
We plan signage around what the screen needs to do and where it will be seen. A menu board above a counter, a window display facing the street and a staff notice screen in a lunchroom all suit different screen brightness, sizes and mounting. We check viewing distance, sunlight, the wall structure and where power and network are available before recommending hardware.
After mounting the screens we install the media player, connect it to the network and set up the signage software. We load your first content, build playlists and schedules - breakfast menu in the morning, lunch menu from midday - and test that every screen shows the right thing. Then we show your staff how to change content without needing to call anyone.

Specific digital signage jobs
- Digital signage setupScreens for menus, notices or promotions in a shop or reception.
- Cafe menu board screensWe reprint our menu boards every time a price or item changes and they still look tired.
- Reception welcome screenOur reception has a TV on the wall that nobody ever updates.
- Shop window display screenWe want a screen in the shop window that people can actually see from the street in daylight.
- Multi-site signage managementWe have screens in several stores and each one shows something different because they're updated by hand.
Digital Signage for businesses
For businesses, digital signage replaces reprinting with a quick edit. Cafes change menus by time of day, retailers swap promotions without climbing ladders, offices show welcome messages to visitors and factories show safety notices in staff areas. Where a new power point is needed behind a screen, a registered electrician installs it before we mount. Content stays in your hands from day one.
Before we arrive
To make the visit quick, it helps to have these ready:
- Where each screen will go and who will view it
- Your logo, images or video for the first content
- Network access details for the media players
- The name of whoever will update the content
What a visit looks like
When you book digital signage, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.
On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.
When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.
Pricing
Each digital signage job is priced before work starts. The price depends on what's involved - the size of the site, the equipment, and whether parts are needed - so the quickest way to a number is to tell us about the job on the booking form.
There is no contract and no monthly fee. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
Digital Signage: common questions
Can we use ordinary TVs for signage?
You can, but consumer TVs are not built to run all day and often lose settings after a power cut. Commercial displays are designed for long hours and can switch on and off on a schedule.
Who creates the content?
You or your designer create the images and videos. We set up the signage software, load your first content, build the schedules and show your staff how to change things themselves.
Can screens in different locations be managed together?
Yes. Cloud-managed signage players let you update screens in several shops or rooms from one place, as long as each player has an internet connection.
