PC and laptop rollouts for business
New computers prepared, deployed and old ones wiped and retired.
Rolling out new computers is more than unboxing them. Each machine needs Windows updates, your standard apps, printers, drive mappings, security settings and the user's files - then it has to land on the right desk without stopping that person working. We build a standard setup, prepare each device, swap them over desk by desk and wipe or recycle the old ones.
- Asset list with serial numbers and who has what
- Each user signed in and checked at their desk
- Old machines wiped or set aside, as you decide
Signs you need PC & laptop rollouts
- A batch of new computers is sitting in boxes
- Every PC in the office is set up slightly differently
- New starters wait for a working laptop
- Laptops from staff who left are sitting in a drawer still signed in
- Windows 10 machines need replacing or upgrading
How we do it
A rollout starts with a standard. We agree with you which apps, printers, drive mappings, browser settings and security tools every machine needs, then build that once - by hand for a small office, or with Windows Autopilot and Intune where you have Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Each device is then prepared to the same standard, fully updated and recorded against its serial number before it reaches a desk.
On swap day we work desk by desk. The user signs in, we confirm their OneDrive, email, printers and line-of-business apps work, move any local files and browser data from the old machine, and set up screens and docks. Old computers are kept until the user confirms nothing is missing, then wiped and reissued, recycled or returned to you. You get an updated asset register at the end.

PC & Laptop Rollouts for businesses
For a growing office, a standard setup means any machine can be swapped or reissued without a day of fiddling, and new starters are productive from the first morning. It also closes common security gaps: local admin rights, missing updates and laptops left signed in after someone leaves. A rollout is a good moment to bring every device under the same management and record who has what.
Before we arrive
To make the visit quick, it helps to have these ready:
- The list of staff receiving a new machine and where they sit
- Installers and licence keys for any specialist software
- Admin access to Microsoft 365 or your domain
- A decision on what happens to the old computers
What a visit looks like
When you book PC & laptop rollouts, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.
On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.
When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.
Pricing
Each PC & laptop rollouts job is priced before work starts. The price depends on what's involved - the size of the site, the equipment, and whether parts are needed - so the quickest way to a number is to tell us about the job on the booking form.
There is no contract and no monthly fee. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
PC & Laptop Rollouts: common questions
Do you supply the computers?
We can advise on models that suit your work, or deploy machines you have already bought. Business-grade models with consistent hardware make a standard setup easier to maintain across the office.
What happens to the files on the old computers?
We move each user's files, browser bookmarks and app settings to the new machine, or check they are already in OneDrive. Old drives are only wiped once the user has confirmed nothing is missing.
Can you roll out without stopping work?
Yes. Machines are prepared before the swap, so each user is away from their desk only briefly. For larger offices we stagger the swaps across teams or schedule them outside busy periods.
