UPS Installation
UPS battery backup installation
A power cut or surge can corrupt a server, kill a NAS or take your internet down mid-sale. A UPS (uninterruptible power supply) keeps critical gear running and shuts it down safely. We size it, install it, set up safe shutdown and test it.

UPS Installation: your questions
Can't see yours? Ask it on the booking form and we'll answer it.
How long will a UPS keep things running?
That depends on the load. Most are sized for 10-30 minutes - enough to ride through short cuts and shut down safely in a long one.
Do you do electrical work to install it?
No. A UPS plugs into an existing socket. If a new circuit is needed, that goes to a registered electrician.
Can you replace the batteries in my old UPS?
Usually, yes. Batteries typically last 3-5 years and replacing them is much cheaper than a new unit.
