Every onsite visit is made up of the same three parts: a $30 call-out including GST, the first hour at $135 + GST, and then $60 + GST for each half hour after that. That is all - there are no fuel charges, admin fees or charges for small parts like cable ties and labels.
If we can fix it without coming out, a remote help session is $60 + GST with no call-out. Many software, email and account problems are sorted this way, and if it turns out we do need to visit, we'll book it with you.
How billing works
- The call-out is charged once per visit, not per hour.
- The first hour is charged as an hour, even if we finish sooner.
- After that, time is charged in half-hour blocks - never by the minute and never in 15-minute steps.
- Bigger jobs get a free quote before any work starts, and we stick to the job we quoted.
- Parts and equipment are quoted and agreed before we order them.
- There are no contracts, plans, memberships or yearly fees.

Most single jobs - a printer that won't print, a computer that needs fixing, a new network point or a Wi-Fi problem - are done within the first hour or two. We tell you before we start if we expect it to take longer, so the total never comes as a surprise.

Bigger jobs and projects
Structured cabling, new networks, servers, camera systems, office moves and fit-outs are quoted before we start. We look at the site or the plans, write down what we will do and what it costs, and only start once you've agreed. The quote is free and there's no obligation to go ahead.

After-hours work for businesses
We book visits Mon-Fri 8am-6pm. For businesses, work that needs the office empty - cutovers, comms cabinet re-patching, server work or an office move - can be arranged in the evening or at the weekend at our normal rates. After-hours visits are for business jobs only.
SuperGold discount
SuperGold card holders pay $116 + GST for the first hour of a home visit instead of $135 + GST. Just mention your card when you book. Family members booking for a parent or grandparent can use it too.
Pricing questions
Is there a call-out fee?
Yes, $30 including GST for each onsite visit. It covers getting a technician and their tools to you anywhere in Auckland and Hamilton. Remote help has no call-out.
Do you charge by the minute?
No. After the first hour we charge in half-hour blocks of $60 + GST. We never bill by the minute or in 15-minute steps.
Do I need a plan or membership?
No. There are no plans, memberships or yearly fees. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
How do quotes work for bigger jobs?
For cabling, networks, servers, cameras and office projects we look at the job first and give you a free quote. Nothing starts until you've agreed to it.
Do you work after hours?
Yes, for businesses. Work that needs the office empty can be arranged in the evening or at the weekend, at our normal rates.
How do I pay?
Home customers pay when the job is finished. Businesses can be invoiced. Parts and equipment are quoted and agreed before we order them.
