Digital Signage

Digital signage setup, on site

Screens for menus, notices or promotions in a shop or reception.

Screens for menus, notices or promotions in a shop or reception.

Digital signage projects begin with what the screens need to show and who updates them. A cafe menu board, a reception welcome screen and a warehouse dashboard each suit different hardware. We look at viewing distance, ambient light and orientation, then choose commercial displays rated for long running hours, with a mounting option that holds the screen securely in portrait or landscape.

What the technician does

  1. Mount the screens
  2. Set up the signage player and content
  3. Schedule what shows when

Commercial screens are designed to run all day.

About digital signage setup

Content is driven by a media player or a system-on-chip display connected to a cloud signage platform. We set up the player, connect it to the network on a segment kept away from office devices, and build templates for your branding. Playlists and schedules let breakfast and lunch menus change automatically, or specials appear at set times. Staff are shown how to update content from a browser.

What usually causes it

  • Printed menus or posters that keep going out of date
  • Consumer TVs failing or showing input messages to customers
  • Wanting promotions to change at different times
  • A new shop, cafe or reception area
  • Showing live data or notices to staff

What a visit looks like

When you book digital signage setup, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.

On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.

When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.

Pricing

Each digital signage setup job is priced before work starts. The price depends on what's involved - the size of the site, the equipment, and whether parts are needed - so the quickest way to a number is to tell us about the job on the booking form.

There is no contract and no monthly fee. You book the job you need and pay for that job.

Digital signage setup: questions

Can we use a normal TV for signage?

It works for light use, but consumer TVs are not designed to run long hours and may show menus, warnings or auto-off timers. Commercial displays include settings and hardware built for continuous operation.

Who updates the content once it is set up?

Usually someone in your team through a web dashboard. We set up templates and show them how to change images, text and schedules so updates do not need us.

Do you do digital signage setup on site?

Yes. We come to businesses and homes across Auckland and Hamilton and do the work where the equipment is.

How much does digital signage setup cost?

It depends on what's involved. Tell us about the job on the form and we'll confirm the price before any work starts.
