Microsoft 365 training for office staff, on site
We moved to Microsoft 365 but staff are still emailing files back and forth and saving everything to their desktops.

We moved to Microsoft 365 but staff are still emailing files back and forth and saving everything to their desktops.
A move to Microsoft 365 often stops at the technical setup. Mailboxes work and Teams is installed, but nobody showed staff how the pieces fit together, so old habits carry on. Files are saved to desktops where they are not backed up, attachments travel back and forth instead of shared links, and nobody is sure which copy is current. Short training on the team's real tasks fixes that faster than any written policy.
What the technician does
- Agree which tasks the team needs to learn
- Run a hands-on session on each person's own computer
- Leave short written guides for saving, sharing and meetings
Have each person bring their own computer and know their Microsoft 365 sign-in.
About Microsoft 365 training for office staff
We start by agreeing what matters for your business - perhaps saving to the right SharePoint library, sharing a link instead of an attachment, using Teams for quick questions and booking meetings in Outlook. The session is hands-on, on each person's own computer, so they practise with their own accounts. We finish with short written guides staff can keep, and note any setup gaps we spotted along the way, such as missing permissions or folders nobody can find.
What usually causes it
- Microsoft 365 set up without any staff training
- New staff joining after the original rollout
- Files saved locally where they are not backed up
- Confusion between OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams files
Before we arrive
- Your computer or laptop charged and switched on, with the password ready
- A short list of the things you most want to learn
- Your email address and password, if the lesson covers email
- For staff training, a quiet room and each person's own computer
What a visit looks like
When you book Microsoft 365 training for office staff, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.
On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.
When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.

Microsoft 365 training for office staff: questions
How many people can join one session?
We keep groups small so everyone can follow on their own computer and ask questions. For a larger team we run several shorter sessions rather than one big one, which also means the office is never left without cover.
Can you also fix setup problems we find during training?
Yes. Training often shows up missing permissions, folders in the wrong place or sync errors. We note them during the session and can fix them afterwards, or straight away if they are stopping someone from following along.
Do you do Microsoft 365 training for office staff on site?
Yes. We come to businesses and homes across Auckland and Hamilton and do the work where the equipment is.
How much does Microsoft 365 training for office staff cost?
It depends on what's involved. Tell us about the job on the form and we'll confirm the price before any work starts.
