About streaky print repair
On inkjets, streaks and banding are more likely clogged nozzles, a dirty encoder strip or low-quality refilled ink. On lasers, we check whether the toner is genuine or compatible, because some compatible cartridges cause smearing on certain models. Cleaning the corona wire, laser window and paper path fixes many problems; otherwise we replace the drum, toner or fuser that is actually worn.
