Office Moves & New Office Setup
After-hours onsite IT work, on site
Work that can't happen while staff are in.
Work that can't happen while staff are in. It's a job we do on site across Auckland and Hamilton, as part of our office moves & new office setup work.
What the technician does
- Plan the work and the downtime window
- Do the work after hours
- Test everything before morning
Ask about after-hours availability when you book.
When to book this
People usually book after-hours onsite IT work when one of these sounds familiar:
- You are moving office and the IT has not been planned
- A new office or branch needs network, Wi-Fi and printers
- A batch of new computers needs setting up
- New staff start and their laptops are not ready
How we approach it
Office projects succeed or fail on the plan. We work out what needs to happen and when - internet, cabling, network, Wi-Fi, printers, desks and computers - and coordinate with your internet provider, builder and electrician so nothing waits on anything else.
On the day we disconnect, move, reconnect and test every desk, printer and system before your team arrives, and we hand over a simple guide to what was set up. Most office moves are done after hours or over a weekend so the business keeps running.
Before we arrive
- The move or opening date
- A floor plan with desk positions
- Your internet provider and account details
- A list of staff, computers and the software they use
For businesses
We set up offices, shops, clinics, cafes and schools - network, Wi-Fi, printing, point of sale, workstations and Microsoft 365 - as one-off projects, with no ongoing contract.
What a visit looks like
When you book after-hours onsite IT work, you tell us what's going on and we reply with a time that suits you and a price. Nothing starts until you're happy with both.
On the day, the technician arrives, looks at the problem in person and confirms the plan with you before starting. If something turns out different from what was expected - a part is needed, or the cause is somewhere else - we stop and agree the change with you first.
When the work is done we test it with you, show you what was changed, and leave the area tidy. For business jobs we note what we did, so there is a record for whoever looks after your IT next.
Pricing
Every after-hours onsite IT work job is priced before work starts. The price depends on what's involved - the size of the site, the equipment, and whether parts are needed - so the quickest way to a number is to tell us about the job on the booking form.
There is no contract and no monthly fee. You book the job you need and pay for that job.
